Azadia Privacy Policy

Effective October 19, 2026

Azadia is a running training app. It is built so that your data stays on your iPhone. We do not run servers that receive your information, and we do not collect, sell, or share any personal data.

Health data

With your permission, Azadia reads the following from Apple Health: workouts (including routes, distance and heart-rate samples, running form metrics such as cadence, stride length, ground contact time, vertical oscillation and power, workout effort, and weather), heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, heart rate recovery, VO₂ max, sleep and sleep stages, overnight wrist temperature, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, steps, active energy, exercise and stand time, flights climbed, walking and running distance, weight, body fat percentage, and your date of birth and sex. It uses this data only to build and adapt your training plan and to show your progress inside the app.

Information you enter

Your training profile (goal race, schedule, injuries, settings, shoes) and your plan are saved on your device (and in your own device backups, if you use them), in files encrypted by iOS Data Protection. Azadia has no servers and never uploads them. A copy of your Health data that Azadia keeps for speed is excluded from iCloud Backup; it is re-read from Apple Health when needed. If you choose to export a backup, the file goes wherever you send it (for example Files or AirDrop); it contains your profile and settings, not your Health data.

Plan Assistant

The Plan Assistant uses Apple's on-device language model. Your messages and training data are processed on your iPhone and are not sent to Azadia or any external AI service.

No tracking or analytics

Azadia contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking software, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

You can erase everything Azadia stored at any time in Settings → Data → Delete all Azadia data, or by deleting the app. Your Apple Health data is managed by Apple Health and is not affected.

Health & safety

Azadia offers general training guidance, not medical advice, and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Check with a doctor before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, an injury, are pregnant, or haven't been active recently. Stop and seek medical help if you have chest pain, dizziness, fainting, unusual shortness of breath, or worsening pain. Heart-rate zones, paces, and predictions are estimates and may not be accurate for you.

Children

Azadia is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
